Erhard Vasicek tells his moving life story: from a difficult childhood following his parents’ divorce, his mother’s cancer and early death, to problems at school, drugs, alcohol, and a formative stay at boarding school. His time in the German Armed Forces, his passion for hip-hop, and the production of his own CDs also became important milestones in his life.

But in the midst of personal crises, Erhard begins to search for God and the meaning of life. An encounter with a Christian friend leads him to read the Bible for himself. Step by step, his life begins to change. He decides to follow Jesus, gets baptized, and begins to actively participate in Christian missionary work.

In the interview, Erhard also talks about his marriage to Oxana, their joint service to God, their missionary work in Portugal, his theological studies in Austria, and his later ministry as an Adventist pastor in Baden-Württemberg.

This heartfelt testimony of faith shows how God can guide and transform a person despite family trauma, loss, addictions, and seemingly hopeless situations. An inspiring life story about forgiveness, new beginnings, calling, trust, and the savingpower of faith.
