🌿 RECIPES FOR A COLD
Here you’ll find the three recipes from the video slides—with additional instructions for use.
🧴 1. NASAL OINTMENT / NASAL BALM
As indicated on the slide, based on Eliane Zimmermann’s recipe.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 tbsp coconut oil or shea butter
• 2 drops of cajeput essential oil
• 2 drops of Ho-leaf essential oil
PREPARATION
Gently melt the coconut oil or shea butter. Let it cool until the base is still stirrable. Stir in the essential oils and pour the mixture into a clean, small jar.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
This recipe describes rubbing the mixture onto the nose and cheekbones. Use only externally on intact skin. Avoid the eyes, inside of the nose, and other mucous membranes. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
The age recommendations on the slide are not verified safety guidelines. For children, consult a pediatrician or pharmacist before using the mixture. Do not use on your own for babies and toddlers.
🧅 2. ONION POUCH
YOU’LL NEED
• 1 onion
• 1 clean cotton cloth
• A ribbon to tie it closed
PREPARATION
Peel the onion, chop it finely, and place it in the center of the cloth. Gather the cloth into a small pouch and tie it closed.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
For children, do not add cajeput oil as indicated on the package. Place the pouch out of their reach and do not put it in the baby’s crib. Remove if eye irritation or a coughing reflex occurs.
🧦 3. ONION FEET
YOU’LL NEED
• 1 onion
• 1 gauze bandage
• Socks
PREPARATION
Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices. Place the slices on the soles of the feet, secure them loosely with the gauze bandage, and pull socks over them.
