The Bible tells us that in Noah's time, the wickedness of mankind was great and all the thoughts and desires of their hearts were evil. This was the reason why God put an end to the hustle and bustle on earth with a flood. But in His mercy, He called the pious Noah to build an ark so that all those who were touched by His love could be saved.
