What is true Adventism?

It was God's will to lead Israel out of Egypt directly into the Promised Land, but the "plebiscite" at Kadesh-Barnea resulted in 40 long years in the desert. As Seventh-day Adventists, we have been walking our dusty, stony circles on a hostile planet, marked by the curse of sin and infested by poisonous snakes, for 175 years now. Along the way, it seems, we have lost some essential things that are indispensable for a happy end to the journey. In earlier times they were tasty spiritual food for many, today they have become so hot under the blazing sun that you can quickly burn yourself on them.
