The question is often discussed as to whether a person is capable of completely overcoming sin and whether this is even required by God.
I was once sitting in a group talking about this and a brother spoke up and said: "All it takes is for one bad thought to cross your mind and you've already sinned ... and you can't prevent that."
Is that really the case?
